The only not-for-profit Longhorn store bringing down the cost of course materials for Longhorn students since 1896! Founded in 1896, The Co-op’s original mission was to address the rising cost of course materials for Longhorn students. Staying true to the original mission and vision set by future UT President, Dr. William J. Battle, today the Co-op envisions a world in which the cost of course materials never prevents a single student from attending or graduating from The University of Texas at Austin.
